Hey TB, how's the morning temp over your way ?

It was ok. Would be better now though I think.

TB - have a mate over at the Mount visiting the inlaws with the family and he called me last night wondering where he should go today - I sent him to Whaga Bar and he called me earlier to tell me it was one of the best surfs he has ever had - called it World Class - a man who has been almost everywhere these last 10 yrs. I miss that place I then told him that it was only the 3rd best left in NZ He almost hung up on me!!

Morning all we are getting some decent NE swell here the point this morning was the best I've seen in over a year Look's like most people gave work a miss today judging by the crew out there , I had some rippers on the Cruiser if you got on a fat one the inside section was really good heaven comes to mind Yep Ted I was pretty impressed with Whanga Bar back in Feb seemed better than I remembered have to wonder if the Marina didn't improve the break Looks like a 16 sec swell tomorrow so be picking up me PR man early in the morning

Yes Ted, take some warm gear, for the first time I can ever remember, I was cold up at woopi one night last week.

Had to break out my best sleeping bag and zip it up properly rather than just use it like a quilt.

Morning all pretty solid swell here so we gave it a miss try again tomorrow

yeah, some nice waves there.its two faced wave. some belting sections and slower sections but it all looks the same.

definitely better than a crowded(bloody 666's everywhere) full ish alley.


awesome day for it. now just a bit more wind and a dw er is on the cards.
