had to laugh at one of the aussie pace attack digging one in short

it just p00fed up into the air and sat there waiting to be smashed to the shortest of boundaries.

Sh!tty soft pom pitches with that fark"n duke ball.

our pace guys will always struggle on those soft pitches and never get enough time with the duke.

wish we had Pigeon still bowling line & length line & length with a little leg cutter at lords.

Can you let me know if Australian groundsman ever prepare a pitch to suit the opposition on purpose please ?

Exactly. So why you whinging? it is suited to their conditions - climatic influences completely different. If you want to win on their territory prepare for it. Simple.

Flat pitch at Lords n the 2 dependables are dominating as expected. Hope you happy cobra very fitting that both of these boys will now have their names in lights at the most famous cricket ground forever. A fine tradition that one. One bloke has spent more time inEngland dominating those pitches than almost anyone else and other bloke is the best player going round right now.

Warners a dick..

Can't hit a full toss over the fence.
Misques the next one
So tries to walk down the wicket and hit one over the top.

Hadn't midddled one all morning, drop him down the order or all together. Out of form and no cricket brain ATM..

Yeah, he is a great bat but IMO Doesn't have the patience to be a test opener.

nicely worded from the bbc.

It took only two balls. Australia took two days to rack up 566 and then took the first England wicket after only two balls. Adam Lyth plays a lazy waft, the shot of man ground into the dirt for 10 hours. He pokes at Mitchell Starc, giving Peter Nevill the simplest of catches behind. That's what scoreboard pressure does. England's mountain gets a little taller.

Gave 'em a bit of the olde Hot Vindaloo & they didn't like it one bit - can see why they've killed their pitches now for sure

After my surf today, I was listening to Triple M, and there was a super funny chat with Mark Waugh in the studio, and Steve Waugh dialed in... The old Team Trainer was in the studio too I think... P!ss funny conversations getting the Waugh Twins together...

Mark reckons he was blessed with stretchy hamstrings, and got away with minimal training... The trainer confirmed that when Mark played, the game went from semi Amateur, to Semi Professional, to fully professional... The trainer used to get Mark down to any Sydney Golf Course, with like a 5 iron, and a Putter... They run around the course, but hit the balls as they go... During the week, pick a course with few players... Mark thought it was a crap idea at first, but was loving it pretty quickly... Mark said he hates running, but put a ball in front of me, and I run all day! LoL!... Just funny radio... Must have been just after noon today... Can someone work out how to get a replay?...

Steve Waugh was taking the p!ss out of Haydoss for doing wanka Yoga moves out on the pitch, for warm ups!... ... But used that as a diversion, when his Red Hanky superstition was raised! ... Funny radio... Steve slung a bit of Sh!t towards England too!

Cobra - like I normally say MJ is an over rated hoax. Plays well occasionally but has about as much consistency as your local waves

Must be killing you to see MJ was the best of the aussies bowlers in the first innings flogging.
