Sri Lanka is a great place for a holiday. You can easily take the wife as well - she will love it. Lovely people, amazing country and incredible food. Waves are not Indo standard (but what is ) but they are a hell of a lot of fun. Joy all round. Can get a bit busy around that spot you like the look of. Lots of places to explore though.

If you going in Jan you need to go to the south coast. Will PM you a nice spot - spent a few weeks in front of a nice right hand point break - surfed it by myself most mornings for 3 hours until people woke up. Heaven. And that included the Christmas / NYR period.

I do think im going to do a Gerry Lopez and just be a snow chaser. We are thinking about moving to Canada. Snowboard all winter and downhill skate all summer
