I'm thinking a 9'8 or 9'10 board for fat point waves. Not really sure on the dimensions as I've never had anything like that before - maybe a single fin. A real paddler that might replace the SUP.
However, my young bloke also has his eye's on it. He keeps saying that I never surf it anymore - and I know what he is thinking

When are you gunna stop shopping at Mc-toys-r-us and get yourself a real surfboard If they are so good then why do you need to replace them every 3 months

I like the look of those redlines. Know what you mean about letting boards go and regretting it later. I'm hanging on to mine so it just means it takes a bit longer to save for a newie.

Come on asea,you know the history of surfing,I had my first go in Hawaii in 07 and the guy who hired me the board told me the story and it was pretty cool at the time,so when the sup's arrived in AUS,I had to have one,mainly for a paddle on flat water but after a month I surfed the tanker,good fun in mirco stuff,it gives you another option in life.But after a month of surfing it,I found it was not for me and prone is much more fun iom.I still paddle it out the back of mine on the odd occasion.
As you know the guy's here are right into it and some are very good at it and there forum is a good read.
If they are so good then why do you need to replace them every 3 months
