vanders1 said..We managed to capture a special moment between OB & MR after Ob's epic surf at Back Beach, it was obviously a very romantic time for both of them.
So I see you've got a new photoshop app.

Just for the record for those who don't know me, I'm not really gay, but I once slept with a bloke who was

and I wouldn't shag OB, 'cos it'd be like shaggin' thin air.....
It's a shame I couldn't make the Friday night shenanigans and Pup's most excellent meal. It certainly looked the goods for a protein rich hit to replenish and fuel up for the next day.
Thanks for such a great weekend you bunch of salty roosters... Had a blast, even though I had to put up with OB's constant crap.

and Vanders dropping in. The rest of you however were perfect gentlemen and a pleasure to surf with.

Great photos from SA, cheers mate.
Was pretty funny watching Climber on a 10 footer for the first time. I think we'll have another convert to the 10'+ membership.
And "Grace" what can I say. While I was at Bluesfest, my wife and I went to McT for a coffee. I saw the Grace 10'6" in the rack and thought she was gorgeous to look at. Gabi actually encouraged me to buy her, as an anniversary present. I wasn't sure, so I messaged Mac. He told me how much he loved his for the glide, so I went back to McT and bought it, untested. Then it took me two days to get her in the water, in completely the wrong surf, and I'd wondered whether I'd made a gross error of judgement. After that, I had to leave my broken car in QLD for three weeks until last Friday, so Grace has lived at my son's since Easter. The car was finally finished and delivered at 4pm Friday. I couldn't wait to give Grace a go at a proper point break. Arra turned it on, and while it took me a while to get used to the weight and how she paddled, I got a couple that made it all worth it. The last session yesterday was one of those where you know you're just too tired, and full of spaghetti, but you want that one last pearler to go home on. So I paddled to the outside again, by the time I got there I thought "If I don't get a wave I might be too stuffed to paddle back in. Tried a couple, but the tide had turned and was coming back in. Take off was too critically close to the rocks (for me on my new pride) so I drifted back to the others. OB had bailed, Climber was waiting for one last one, and I just happened to snag a wall that held up to the sand. I couldn't believe it. Decision ratified as far as I'm concerned. The glide and trim is something else. I just don't think I'll get to ride her that much around Sydney beachies, but at least I've got the Diverse hack for that.
Not sure how I made it home. Two sessions at Arra Saturday arvo, then two again Sunday morning. Left at midday with an hour at Taree for a cuppa with my Dad. By the time I got home I was fairly banjaxed.
Not sure what you saw this morning OB, but if you're talking the 'roy, I couldn't see anything when I drove past. Not that I had time, or energy to actually be able to get my board out of it's bag....

Thanks for a grand weekend lads, looking forward to another sometime soon.
