Just read the Qld team shocked to see old petero and Boyd in the squad . I haven't seen a game of league in over 2 years but from the game reviews they are both struggling to keep their spots in A grade .

Why do they keep wasting games on Melbourne they are never , ever going to overtake the AFL down here . AFL is a lot of Tasmanians main reason for living and it probably is even bigger in Victoria . Give the game to the Queenslanders who fully appreciate it .

The force could end up going the same way as the Western Reds and the Adelaide Rams .
I wish Murdoch would throw some of the money he throws into the Melbourne Storm my way .I'm sure I could find a better way to waste it

1 they have a team in the comp
2 they will get bums on seats and make NRL a sh!t load of $$$$
3 they will get more people there than Sydney

weiry it makes me sad to see the lack of crowds for games in sydney. some of my fondest memories are watching the dragons on a sunday arvo at jubillee. scull inciting hatred towards any opposition. then racing your mates and the rest of the kids to run on the field and claim a corner post. then patting all theplayers on the back as they walked of the ground,then straight into a game of footy with your mates

i have watched live, AFL & AFL GF, Union world cup, soccer A league, and rugby league GF and international games and IMO origin beats them all hands down

And Boyd over blokes like Ash Graham
I think it is a real waste of a game sending 1 to Melbourne . There is only 3 a year so why waste one on the Victorians ( not that I dislike Victorians Simondo ) if it's all about the $ that's a bit sad for the NRL . Have to agree state of origin at Lang Park must be up there with best atmosphere at a sport event held in Australia every year .

^^^the fridge and a freezer def deserves to be there. one he plays hard and strong, has safe hands,doesnt get caught up in the moment and lose his cool,does not give away silly penalties and, qld would like farks if they didnt let him have his swansong(they are banging on about loyalty all the time) boyd has no right to be there at all. but then i ask about hayne,jennings and a few more poor choices by nsw
