Sorry for the late report, but i just left a 2.5hour epic shredblast ripfest at the alley. If your are reading this now i hope you have been out and got wet because it was sensational! A big jump in swell overnight with 4-5ft through snapper off the rock with some beautiful lines of 3 through rainbow and greeny. Kirra had a good 3ft with a nice offshore breeze. The alley was the standout through with up to 6 foot off the rocks and 4-5 over the laceys side after a sucky post dawn low tide. Overhead barrels, massive faces and long rides are the order of the day Chico is complaining about having one leg bigger than the other after his long rides on his little red shred sled. A few other options around, but most of the beachies are too straight and massive to hold a good wave up. Could be even better tomorrow for those that can get out into the lineup without wearing too many on the head. Send your wife to Robina and get out there and get wet! pmh

The report was spot on,it must have had some size my son will not get out of bed unless its 3 +,he at snapper and old dad at ,Rainbow' was all time clean with walls all the way down the line, sorry ya missed it

Gotta love those Queenslanders,always optimistic on wave size.Ive been at Cooly when the surf report said 5 to 6 foot and I would call it at 2 to 3 foot at best

Well me and the boys just got home the footy,yep our team lost but for the first in a while they stepped up.

My call on today was Snapper 4 to 5 the Alley 5 to 6.

The buoys are saying 2-3 foot but the waves off snapper rocks and the alley are still saying hell yeah get your ticket for a first class ticket to shredsville! its a little smaller than yesterday but the set waves are still around the 4ft mark through the alley, laceys and snapper. D'Bah is choked and straight and rainbow and greeny are getting a few 2-3 footers. Theres 90% less crowd factor this morning but there also 90% less temperature factor, with some cold water currents running around the toes at dawn. A good chance to get a few if you got dragged to pacific fair by the girlfriend or your metro-man for the weekend. Chico doesnt rate metros. pmh

you lucky bugga mac all we are getting down here are 5 to 8 foot close outs unless you know some one with a jet ski on the bigger days.soon as radiation finished might have to come up and share some of those pits.

Many days on and we still have swell but looking like a log weekend coming up
