Looks like the high performance model?

Nice wide point, into a sweet concave and a little bit of hip in front of a pulled in tail.. very nice..

Bought this little ripper in 1984 and sold it to a collector year before last which is now a show piece in his lounge!

Not new and shinny but my first surfboard, bought 5 years ago and used until its final tragic appearance has called for an upgrade. I took up surfing at 39 and have thought of little else but getting in the water...this is the best 500 bucks I have spent in my life!

They are a great paddler and cruiser but definitely turn from the tail if the fin is positioned like the one I had above.

Cheers SB.

It has a centre box and fixed sides.

Think I might just pull the trigger and see if I like it. Can always sell it on..

One of those blokes whose boards i always wanted to try.

nice work rattlin
I'm see'n the area pin and the nose point, and it looks like the wide point is centre or just forward of centre.

But what's going on underneath?

It does not look rolled or flat all the way, but then I can't make out any concs either.

Loverly soft rails, that's a board for riding.

Thanks cob.
Slight concave all the way through and flat through the fin area.
Happy with it how it came out and rides.
Pic below of how it started life and its mate I got off gummy for a coupla hunj.
Mate turned out alright to. Same volane layup on both with RR epoxy.

SP the waves on the day weren't ideal or what I had it made for, namely my local point break on smaller days cruising through sections
Having said that, the board feels great on a wave, the flex through a bottom turn and then how it releases out of the turn is great.
It picks up on a wave real easy and maintains plenty of speed out on the shoulder.
For me I have always wanted to get a timber board and love the feel it gives you, so different from a glassed board. Both lying on the thing with the cork deck plus while riding a wave
The other cool thing is smell with the linseed oil used on the base, just like my old cricket bat

I think it is the sort of board which is just great to have in the quiver.
