3ft this morning. Ketut's was smoking but too many arse clowns pushing each other too deep, lots of waves going to waste.
Peak was nice with some really nice rights and the inside left was trying without success.
Wind started to swing about 7.30 so the early is the go.
Water's pretty cool too maybe 20*. Coldest I've ever had it up here.

Only a couple of foot today, rest of Bali must've been pancaked. Small but fun.

Yeah I've been meaning to Mac, but that means taking a phone or camera with me for the early. Or doing a pic run before I paddle out at 5:30 which would be $hit pics anyway. Or relying on the photog team of Lise and the boys getting down the beach before the wind swings at 7:30 and that's never gonna happen.
Was easier getting surf pics last year when I was 50m from the beach but it's pretty damn comfy where we are this year.

Been fun here the last few days. Not epic but fun. Looking like some big stuff coming in a few days though so the big board might get some wax.

Well....can't afford to rant but our first week at Balian was bamboozled and I'm sure someone knows the phuctard who owns the Istana Balian and if you do let him know that he Karma he deserves is coming his way as it does on the island of the gods. A completely ignorant fool who left a woman and to kids in the lurch and couldn't give two hoots. If you ever consider going up there avoid Istana Balian like the plague. In 30 years of hitting Bali this was the first time that we've had a completely horrific experience all due to this Pig of a Human who just happens to be an excuse for an Aussie.

Anyway...it saw us being looked after by I our good friends down in Town and have surfed small full Padma for the last few days. Arrived at Balanagan today to PANCAKE ville and a little spike in swell tomorrow before it hits the Bukit the day after and hopefully game on for a couple of days.

Sorry Smicko for missing you up,North, but if you end up down in the Bulit this week or Nusa Lembongan the week after let us know.

So what happened Surf69? double booking?

Yes Mate, double booking, and that happens sometimes, but it was just all the crap, lies and shenanigans that when with it. Complete scam artist that's full of excrement to the extreme. It's amazing that the Expats are the hardest to deal with LOL locals are awesome.

Another flat day here. Should be something come with the tide around lunch time. Swell kicks tomorrow.

K'maz is glassy waist to head right now, so Serengan should have the occasional head & a 1/2. Nusa Dua would probably be double...mid dawny tide to high at lunch next couple of days. I'd suggest a look at Sri Lanka or Secrets tomorrow & go to Serengan if one of those wasn't on. The bypass makes it pretty damn easy these days...

Double high's dawny & arvo next week, you might have some fun in Nusa Lembongan next week S69 if the crowds not too full on.

Double bookings are very very common through the islands - most owners get sick of people booking and never showing up. Most have a back up plan when they get caught out. Shame you had a poor experience on that one.

Surf small here again. Should pick up a bit as the tide comes in but will not be that exciting. The new swell should be here soon though at long last.

Apparently NL is empty this week so you should have some fun there. Enjoy !

Sat under a tree for two hours yesterday watching and waiting for the beachie to turn on but there just wasn't enough water and too much swell.

Swell has arrived now, just a constant roar, sounds like a giant foundry. Time for a wander with the long lens and have a look if it's surfable, could be a Medewi day.

Ken huge here, hard to tell how big cos no one is out but it's big. I reckon it might be time to see if I can tune the missus for a couple of days up the east coast.
