I will but earlier you asked to be enlightened. Originally, I wanted to show that China owned a portion of Australian Broadcasting Corp. I know it is easier to listen to what the paid talking heads tell you and then regurgitate it without thought. There are people on here this forum who have attacked those who simply questioned the logic behind closing beaches, telling them to stay the XXXff home. Why?

Why is it ok for people on this forum to blame a president for a city which has a mayor and a city council who are supposed to administer the city? Yet, when someone questions their rationale for such statements, that person has a smug, superior tone, and is a conspiracy theorist. Was it over the top to suggest selling waterfront condo to them in Alice Springs? Yeah, it was. I guess no more than telling someone to stay the eff home, as if they had the authority to do so.

Read the links or don't. It makes no difference anyway. Some of us will continue to put our heads in the sand and our ass in the air, then get pissed when someone spanks them.

My wife keeps telling me that I am stupid for arguing with ignorant people. I told her that they were not ignorant, just not informed. But man, do I feel stupid after today.

When I found out about the ban last Thursday, I got a bit drunk and emailed my local MP, Brad Rowswell.
A bit surprised I got a reply to my rant today, which said in part...

"I have made a number of inquiries regarding the wisdom behind bans on boating and paddle boarding, though am yet to receive clarification from the Minister for Boating. I will convey this information to you as soon as it is forthcoming."

Ha ha mate, already got my daughter, new born grandchild and son in law moved in just before the shutdown. You could sleep under the gum tree though. I make a particularly fine home brew which you can sample when this **** is over!
