Had mine out again at Manly this morning. The worst thing about this bloody board is....it is so damm good and its addictive. I have not touched a short board for months. I NEED to get back on my acid.

If the new Runway is half as good as this one, I'm buying another one. Tim - Have I earn't a promoters discount yet

yup the handle position so far is the only negative on this board.
I tried the 8" centre fin other day with orig side bites and it's fast but I'm back to 9" fin on the sup surf learning process

Thanks for the fin share! Is that the futures 7" cutaway fin or just any cutaway size fin mike3217? Is vonpiros still sell those combo fin set Smash1? This is my 8" dolphin fin
glass. I notice the board has 5fin box and do we really need it, so many options and confusing

The Mistress must be close I noticed that the runway is not on the surfboard warehouse site anymore. I'm not a detective but would this be making room for the new Mistress.?

The last of the Runways are now only available in our retail stores. They have been removed from online as they have nearly sold out sorry guys. The new Mistress is still a while away but it may be worth increasing the size of your Xmas stockings this year lads. I will have 8 prototypes of varying constructions in 2 weeks but currently just the one in Australia. I'll try jump onto Seabreeze a bit more as we release some of our new models.

Awesome news, always welcome on the breeze with updates Tim. Thanks for keeping it real for those of us who don't have the $$ that are asked for some other brands.

I've created a monster!!! I can't get off it! Weighs a lot less and the new refined dimensions, flyer and extra tail kick make it even easier to throw around. Nose time is still unbelievabley easy. Our videographer is in Hawaii at the moment but I'll lock in some footage in a week or 2. Previously the boards handle was centered/balanced with a 10 inch fiberglass fin and 2 GX stabilisers. The new model will be balanced with a lighter fin setup so should be more accommodating for smaller/lighter fin setups.

Kids won't get off it either both in and out of the water.

I've handed a few Mistress prototypes out and also strapped one of our 2014 "Widow Maker" camera rigs to one. Still waiting on decent waves to try her out in but I jumped the gun yesterday and tested her out in some really ugly conditions. It was when I got faded by a windsurfer that I started to question why I was trying to film in such bad conditions with a very restrictive camera mount. We will post the actual Mistress clip soon as well as open up preorders on these boards. In the mean time here's a short rough edit I put together of me trying to tame a windy flat ocean.

I usually ride sub 8 foot short board style sups and a 12 ft PSH gun. Been lurking around the forums looking for something in between to ride which is easy and fun. Read the previous pages and decided to check out the new by noserider style 10 footer as I am looking for a board around 10 ft and wouldn't call myself an expert mal/noserider. (haven't ridden a mal in 15 years). Tim the owner/designer, took some time to go over the design features of the board. I was then stoked when he offered it to me to test ride.

My impressions so far.....
I have had 3 surfs on the prototype shop board in both point and beach break style waves this week. First surf at the Alley was a learning curve as you really have to move up the front of the board to feel it come alive. Take off, bottom turn then I worked out 3 cross steps and your making sections that I would not normally had come close to on my 7'10 short sup. Next was my local beach break on mid- tide and a little early morning cross shore . I paddled out and enjoyed some time up the nose getting a few to the beach. The board turns super quick due to the pulled in tail, single flyer and serious vee in the back half of the board. Speed was there and I was using the standard shop fins (large centre and small side bites) which are different to my usual quad set ups.

I was really impressed with the bamboo/pvc construction and the old style retro resin tint. Tim was saying he wasn't sure on the final construction and was playing with different constructions. The board handle was spot on with no tail or nose drop and was not light like carbon construction but still light enough for me to put it on my Landcruiser with one arm . Stability at 28' is solid even in chop. Not sure when it is being released or the price sorry.

Worth checking out IMO if you are wanting a fun , crusinin style of board that you can surf and throw round plus walk to the nose.

Are they trading OK? How can they make money on their prices? I just got an email that had prices way too low to be sustainable.

Hey Imoutthere,

We take your question and curiosity as a true compliment mate! We have been successfully trading for nearly 7 years now and are stronger than ever. The fact you think our prices are too low means we are definitely doing our job right as ultimately our business goal is to make the sport affordable to the everyday Aussie.

We have fine tuned our business model over the past 6-7 years and just like all businesses we are not without challenges but rest assured there is one thing we can guarantee and that's that we are sustainable..... Just not greedy ;)

Cheers

Hey Calbs,

I am happy to report that The Mistress is currently nearing completion and due for release at the end of 2017.... We are hoping it scrapes in just before Christmas but it will be close!!!

Stocks will initially be limited so we will be looking to take pre-orders later this month for any Seabreezers who are keen. Tim and I will keep you posted on any updates as they arise

Cheers

Thanks Andrew

4 inches & 40 liters of difference between each size?
I am sure you guys have done your research, but is there a market for the bigger size in a nose rider?

Was there any though of reducing the larger size to about 29.5 inches and 135 liters?

Hi Andrew, I have the previous runaway and floats me well (beginner to intermediate 80kg). Do you think its an easy transition from last years board 10x29 130lts to the new Mistress 10x28 122lts with my stats?
