colas said.. also new, better, and cheaper foils will have come up

Have a look at www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Stand-Up-Paddle/Foiling/2019-foils--Best-bang-for-buck-?
Blue planet just announced another cheap foil, which have all the reasons to be quite good.
I would also add that the steady arrival of good cheap foils will destroy the resale value of the expensive foils you buy now. That's life, and better be on the water training than waiting for a deal, but if you are on a really tight budget, it is a thing to consider.

Poor guy is asking for 1 Solution:

Get the LONG MAST.

It is MORE robust, Stronger, and will give more down the road capability as you learn to turn it apparently doesn't breach as often. Sure you might fly a little higher but you probably will not be able to tell the difference in the beginning. It will all be scary.

Agree 100% here with beasho if no worries with water depth at his spot definately go with longer mast grow into it especially if on a tight bubget, much prefer my 29" mast vs 24" in most all conditions except perhaps a shallow low tide reef issue then throw the 24" on, but for me if I'm gonna have the only option of 1 mast in quiver go for the longer unless bottom conditions locally dictate otherwise.little different ballgame but prefer my 36" mast wave kite foiling generally over my 32" mast unless real smooth conditions less chance of breaching more carving turns

My growing SS wing collection.
Infinity 84 for SUP
H2 for Windfoiling.
H5 for high wind wind and kite.
Have 24, 30 and 35" mast
heavy gear but holding up well.

Had a few sup surf sessions on the 84 and it's a super stable at speed. Haven't tried the 76 yet but sure it will be even quicker.

Hi baldy123,

Did you sup surf the 84 with the long windfoil fuselage?
How did it turn, did it feel stiff?
Just wondering because i use the 84 with the short fuse that comes stock with the FSURF and find it a little unstable regarding heightcontrol, esp windfoiling it compared to my dedicated Aeromod windfoil.
That's also my biggest issue as a beginner in supfoiling, keeping the height stable.
Now i'm thinkink about buying a long windfoil fuselage, but wonder about possible negative effects.
