I am beginning to foil up consistently with my 2400. It doesn't take much and comes up very gently and smoothly. I will be keeping it for small wave days.

Can someone post some measurements of the 2400 v2
I have a Stinger Manra Foil and would like to compare the front wing spec
My front foil wing specs are
87 cm wide
20 cm front to back
35 mm thick at the thickest point which is centered front to back
When sitting level on a table the front of the wing has a 20mm rise from the table to the underside of the foil, 35mm from the table to the bottom of the trailing edge
The trailing edge is almost straight with only 10 mm curve closer to the ends
From your pictures it looks like the 2400 v2 has way more verticle curve and the trailing edge has a huge curve

I read on the zone that some people think the longer masts (85cm) are not stiff enough for the 2400..

Armstrong has switched to a tapered mast, larger and more ridged at the board, smaller and more flexible at the foil
Armie explained this in an interview saying the mast is like a fin, the smaller it is the tighter you can turn, also the flex is good as you can load the foil up with energy before the turn and then release it during the turn

Anyone have both the 2400 and HS1850? Interested in comparison. I have HS1850/1550. The 1850 is great for lighter winds and up to 20 knots. However when in the 10-11 knot range there are wingers getting up on the GoFoil M200 and I am not up on the HS1850.

The 2400 has a slightly better bottom end but not by much. Technique will help you get up earlier. 105kg using a 6m smik I get up as early as most using the 1850. I find it pumps better through the lulls than the 2400 did.

You running the HS1850 with the 300 tail? It works better in lighter wind for me. I use the +1 shim. I don't even bother with the 232 tail.

I run the 232 with both 1850 and 1550 and zero shim. So DWF with 1850 and 300 +1 shim is this easier to getup in light winds? Worth buying the 300/Uni Tail Wing?

Primary reason for running the 300 tail is it just feels right. More stable. More relaxing to ride. Better balanced between my feet. The 232 just feels wrong for winging.

What Matt learned kiting the 232 and 300 tail in this video, is exactly what I feel, winging ALL the HS sizes.

The local shop owner thinks a chopped 300 tail with +1 shim pumps better than the 232.

Interesting, I've been prone surfing mostly and I loved changing from the 300 to 232-212 it's a significant performance increase as hilly points out, but then I started the wing ding journey with the 1550 & 1850 and though I'm a pretty competent prone and kite foiler so no need to use the 300 on the wing ding, but after a few sessions with the 232 ,I decided to change back to the 300 and it made everything easier and more balanced. I'm probs 10 sessions Wing ding atm and the 300 tail is staying on for now, cause it gets up early ,helps with transitions and feels balanced.
No doubt I'll end up on the 232 like hilly and his mates, but it requires more experience and attention to ride, but that's the great thing about Armstrong gear, it's so versitile.

I've been running the 232 with all foils for a while and prefer the speed. However I switched back to the 300 with the 1200 for winging in over 20 knots it just seems much smoother all around a better match.

I'm finding the 1850 and 232 topping out at 30Kph winging which is often not fast enough to keep up with the swell. Even with the plus 1.

Can anyone tell me their top speed of the 1550 ? I'm thinking I need to add this.

Cut down the 232 to 212 and go +2 for more speed. But it is a mid aspect foil and large it will never be super fast. I got 34kmh yesterday and easily kept on the reformed swell lines in a bay. Different story chasing down open ocean swell but the 1850 is not the beast for that. 1550 is faster and better on steep open ocean waves. 1200 even better. If you are a light weight the 1250 might be the go when it comes out.

I just ran the 300 tail with the 1550 for the first time in a loooong while and I enjoyed it. Conditions were basically flat with a few 1' swells. I was out to dial in tacks and was able to nail 95%. Day before with the 232 I wasn't making nearly as many (around 20%), yet I was on a 1M smaller wing in similar winds. Only other change I made was slamming my mast all the way forward (switched around the t-nuts).

I even ran the CF800 wing for the first time with a 4M wing in around 20mph with the 300. That was interesting and had a blast racing some windsurfers. Gybes were tricky! Barely made any tacks.

The 300 tail wing definitely feels a bit more safe and locked in, less ready to dive into a banking turn (which I crave when prone). Good to mix it up and I will be using that wing for when I want to dial in any winging maneuvers.

With 212 tail and +1 it is comfortable at 34km/h +2 was even more controlled at speed. I lost feel for turning though, so went back to 0 shim. Still very controllable over 30km/h but easier to turn, I feel. I like a bit of drag but not too much Goldilocks combo for me.

SUP foiled on the 1550 and 850 mast (212 and 0 shim) yesterday in good waves, wow that is so much better than the 720 mast. No wingtips pocking out or rail hits even with sharp turns.
