Unfortunately you have realized it doesn't exist. The perfect tender. Always a balance of steal-a-bility, stability and weight.
I settled on a long nose fiberglass thing that has very little buoyancy and a wooden plank as a seat. I don't know the brand. Reason is its very light and looks like a sh1t so no one will steal it (kept on public rack). I can just about lift it with one arm. However it is not very stable and only really suitable for two people. We have had three but its no good in heavy chop. I put a 2hp on the back which pushes it along well. Im guessing its similar to the 2m snub nose, and im guessing you wouldn't want to stand up in it. You have to keep low centre of gravity and move around v slowly.

A mate of mine has a Highfiled tender (I think its the roll up air deck), they are the lightest in their class as they have an aluminum transom. Its the bees knees but I reckon it would get stolen. Very stable. Check them out. The 2m is a measly 15kg. He has had it a while and it is well made, not one of the rubbish imports.

If weight is an issue, perhaps wheels could help. Of course that depends on how far you need to move it and the terrain. I also have a Highfield 2.4 with an aluminium floor (custom mod). With the wheels I can move it anywhere. And it is stable, plus it can be rolled up (which we did for the trip to Hammo and back). It is very stealable (been tried twice already).

But my mates crappy snub nose was stolen from the same rack area, so it all depends on what they can resell and how quickly. And how big the bolt cutters they carry with them......

I scored this one in Sydney 4 years ago off Gumtree for $300 with a Mercury 4 hp which ended up being worth nothing.

I went with a portabote after stepping straight through the floor of my zodiac one cold morning ( great way to wake up) the portabote is a bit of a struggle to construct on deck if the boats rolling around but it's great to have a larger tender without having a larger yacht
