I always find milk of the japs-eye gives it a great clean and revitalise.

On a serious note, give your kites a quick spray with Breeze by Peter Andre and you will boost higher.

Keep it inflated, tie it to the roof rack and go through the local car wash.
Kite and car clean, win/win both ways.
