Well my luck gets better. We got ransacked on the weekend and they took alot of **** including stacks of irreplaceable digital photos



. Unsure of insurance for rest of stuff at this stage.

They didn't take any kite stuff


The rights of way and stuff will always be hotly debated, but to say that kite lines aren't dangerous is a well known dumb-thing-to-say. Most reasonable kiters will agree that lines
can be dangerous. The remaining think it will never happen to them.
People, please be aware of the
potential for damage caused by your lines. I got off lightly with just a finger tip gone, (i'll still milk it for all it's worth

,) but one tenth of a second earlier it would've been my whole finger, a full second earlier it would've been my hand.
Thanks to those well wishers and one-liner comedians for brightening my day. Stitches come out thursday and i'll put in some more photo's if it's gory enough.
So Darwin kiters get the most out of this windy weather, it's due to end on Saturday, when i may be back on the water. But probably not till next weekend.
