Hey Peter, I passed on your message to him this morning -- great that he was able to hook up with you! What a spectacular spot! And what a difference from a couple days ago!
I guess you probably heard about the challenges yesterday tacking around a couple of the wide points and across the bays with wind at times going every direction except for the direction you'd hope for? All good in the end and Ian and the crew connected with the owners of a Ningaloo station just off the beach where he stopped last night and were generously treated to local hospitality with all manner of food and drink. There are still awesome people everywhere in the world!
Ian's plan is to overnight between Yardie Creek and Exmouth tonight and to complete the mission in Exmouth tomorrow.
Once I have more precise information on his plans for the finish line, I'll post GPS coordinates for anyone who's up that way and would like to meet him at the finish line.
