A known brand name so if you don't like it you can sell it and get most of your money back, and the shaper to be a competent kiter so he knows what he's shaping for. And,
A sharp point nose punches through waves better,,,oh and sails

To each their own. Many people prefer $1000 instead of $1800, and at $1000 being much stronger than that offered by most surf shapers who don't want to do aramid, carbon, vac bagged and so on.

Looking great and similar to my shape My board is Vacuum bagged at 1.8 kg with Double Bias carbon There is a number of shapers out there that do Vac boards but clients not willing to pay the extra I feel the table is turning due to Production pro boards are now selling $1300 to $1900 We can now have a chance to produce Vac bag board custom made to riders requirements Aus made and light Keep up good work

Nice work Mark, excellent job. Looks like it will ride like a champ. My only issue would be the black. In the summer months this color absorbs so much heat that you could get delam issues. What are your thoughts on that being on the west coast?

Oh agreed, I hate black. However, customer gets what he wants and it will spend most of its life in Italy

Improved heat curing, keep out of sun except when in use when the ocean keeps it cool.

@Mark, great work, can you shed some light on construction?

No big secrets mate.

S-glass bottom
Deck is carbon-kevlar foot patches, 6" wide innegra strips along about 3/4 of board in heel positions, 6oz biaxial carbon all over and pine veneer over that. Carbon rails.

Solid.

Note to self, charge more for grab rails and channels, you forget what a PITA it is after doing 'normal' shapes for a while haha
