Kitersurfers who are over eager and "Rush" to the beach even though everyone knows the wind will not be up for another 2 hours. Golden rule...Go kiting when there is wind and pack a surfboard as backup.

Sydney... It is tough kiting here. I moved from Cape Town to Perth and now Sydney. CPT there almost too much wind and quite big swell. Perth has awesome wind and warmer water, but the waves are small (except if you travel). Sydney has the most inconsistent wind forecasts making it difficult to plan weekends away. On the upside, I probably enjoy kiting now more than ever as you really appreciate it when there is wind There are some good wave spots in NSW.....

Kitesurfers riding between surfers... just do not do it. Accidents can happen very easily with +20 meter lines. No point in p.... off the surfing community.

What I took from what he said is nothing like that. Besides kiters dont lounge at resorts on kite beaches they huddle up in share houses fighting over goon dregs if anything. You and your 1 week holiday can have the resort lounge but I certaintly seen many of the more keen kiters live like that.

I believe he was referring to how everyones so media trained that they cant say anything negative about any product any kite any location any meal any boat any tour any comp any trip any photoshoot because doing so is believed to be career suicide and its all just for peanuts anyways so why most bother I do not know.

The worst thing in kiting is when you don't land a really big kiteloop.
There was some footage from the latest king of the air to demonstrate, jesus he hit hard, best...splash...ever!!!!

i hate it when i go to the beach for a kite only to find i have forgotten my kite , bar, lines ,harness and board , then realise i dont even know where the hell i am .... that real sh#@ts me

I think maybe kookabrutha you've been paying to much attention to the smelly euros travelling aus, 10 to a van and 20 to a house. ..

Certainly everywhere that I've been that is a noted kite holiday destination is now full of soft handed white collar middle aged extreme kite enthusiasts. .. usually impact vested & helmeted, fingerless kite gloves on with their entire kite quiver pumped up on the beach waiting for the wind to get above a couple of knots...
