nah its pretty well self policed by most of the dog owners that go there (self included).
the path through the dune stinks a bit and has the odd landmine through summer though!
oh, and it's about a 2km dog allowed beach stretch - again, the lens makes it look more crowded (with canines and people), but it does get busy in summer from teh nearest entracne to the carpark.
