I left my foil and board in about 200mm of water the other day. While I packed up kite. had to dig it out of sand. It has buried till fuselage was about 50mm under sand.

Why would you do that? The abrasion and bouncing around isn't the best thing for something as sensitive as a wing and mast. They are expensive too! This doesn't really make sense to me, though you probably have a good reason. I just can't fathom it right now.

I have been so over whelmed with the amount of support and advice I have received. It truly has been amazing to see what a great community there is out there and I can't thank you enough.
Picture below is a rough guide to where foil came off. I was directly out from Cooge life saving club. Over to my left the Woodman point dredging plant and over to my right the old power station.
If any one fancy's a mission to head out and look I am free most days at the moment, not much work happening on Rotto at the moment.

Eerrggh! What is this - a good-willed, thoughtful, constructive community or something? I got sick in my mouth just reading all of the above. Can someone please post something sarcastic, dismissive, patronising or just balls-deep offensive before any visiting windsurfers get the impression that we're losing our touch.
