Most people have a 1-2 ton improvised press in their shed/garage in the form of a car... A press isn't necessarily essential either.

Alloy T nuts, used old skool skateboard rails. I used them on my snowboards back in the late 1980's when the stance was narrow and no duck foot combinations. They are supper light accept production made screws and cost like 50¢ each. Drill & 2 part epoxy em in then add windsurf foot straps as they are lighter. There is a hard water proof and UV stable deck paint were 2 very thinly applied coats wipped when just getting tacky in 45 degree angles to create micro cross-hatched base will create the fastest base around. As water om water friction is the very lowest you can get. I think there is a skin you can buy to apply to yachts to make them faster in lght winds.
