Funny me and me julie were talking about this the other day. She came up with the best reason for it. She said all guys like to play dress ups and it starts when we are kids, you always see little dudes cruising around at shops wearin super hero costumes and it just goes on when they are older. Its like how homies wear gay stuff. I thought that was awsome and she is onto somthing there! Its not for me I think its gay but if people like playin dress ups go for it!

Boardies over wettie brings to mind sandals and thongs while wearing shorts.. Yes, Euros who don't realise how dweeby they look do it, but that's no reason to copy them. I should note that wearing sandals and thongs to work under long pants is cool subversive behaviour.
I'm out riding, not standing around on the beach in my non-boardied wetsuit. I may spend 5 minutes max standing on the beach with my man bulge. I actually think that wearing a wetsuit debulges you somewhat and turns you into a Ken Doll. Maybe that's the REAL reason people wear boardies, because they feel insecure that they look emasculated?
Generally when I'm ripping along having a good time on the water, the last thing I'm worried about is whether my package is embarrassing anyone!
