World Sailing as they were at the time isaf.. said you cannot be the fastest sailor as you are using a kite therefore it is not sailing... lol then a handful americans lobbied...lol and they decided to alter history.

and there you go. it wasnt kiteboarders worldwide lobbying saying errr, hmm we are sailing lets be the fastest sailors and rewrire the history of the sport.

For sure kiteboarders wanted credit for being the fastest wind powered craft on water using something 1/1000th the price of sailing kit.. but at the expense of being sailors... all joining sailing clubs( that are totally unsuitable).... nope.

The silituation has already started to effect grass roots kiting and has already trickled down to industry too imo.

World Sailing has no grass roots in kiteboarding its a big con job, and if kiters/industry believe that being part of world sailing even via thier subcontractors (ika/gka) will help thing$ i think they are mistaken. imo it is going to make things a whole lot worse.

And i don't work for KA but i am on the KBV board.

Nope, it will be a kiting event sanctioned by World Sailing (the kitesurfing thieves) via their subcontractors the GKA in 2ft slop with a huge sideways sweep and 8 knots gusting 28.. and we will rejoice as history is rewritten as they compete using the (c) " racing rules of sailing (kiteboarding class)"....... in waves.... using a...... kite ! lol wtf!

Dont support any kite surf events that support the theft of kiteboarding by World Sailing... KA GKA IKA World Sailing.

By kiters for kiters, from the very top down is the right way to go, so many conflicts of interests with World Sailing claiming to be the authority for all forms of kiteboarding on water. Rediculous.
