Nup x 3.

Clues - not common in Aus, although I've seen homemade ones. They are more for aesthetics than for any practical use and you won't see one being used in a city.

Coffee beans SH!T out by Monkeys then roasted its called kopi luwak,

very expensive, tastes great and kopi luwak more expensive than gold by weight

found in Sumatra.

Kopi Luwak discussed often on coffee forums. Most coffee snobs say it tastes average - really nothing here nor there about it tastewise, it has no distinctive flavour profile, can't be picked in blind tests, and is only ever judged in blind competitions as an average performer amongst low-to-middle priced beans. it's only famous for being coated in sh!t. There is a fair degree of animal cruelty involved, I won't post pics but it's not cute animals roaming the coffee plantation as you'd believe, think cage hen amount of space but for intelligent animals (more like a cat than monkey )force fed until they die. Please don't buy a pack for a laugh or a good souvenir.

as for cruelty,,,i didn't see any.
+ I've never seen a cat running around in tree tops using their paws feeding themselves, like i saw these little blokes doing .

(probably more like a possum than a cat)

if your google says its a cat, then its a cat.

and if people in coffee forums say it tasts average,it must be average

i thought it was great, but as people know the coffee in indo is, lets just say different

http://civet.berkeley.edu/~dstrubbe/civets.html
Civets are mistakenly referred to as cats sometimes. We will follow that tradition here. Felis lybica can be called a civet cat.4 (The following are not civets: onca, psipsina, garfield, and crookshanks.)

As for pics, I won't show any, I really don't want to take this fun thread off topic. But also it's important for people to know. They take the tourist to the nice farm, with a few animals running free, well fed and making 'civet coffee' naturally. You buy the stuff and feel good about the whole thing. They don't take you to the factory farm up the road where it's actually produced.

Here you go crew!

Sorry it took me a while to get back - combination of me having to figure out how to do photographs, and a backlog of "honey-do's from the Sandwichmaker.

This handy little gadget still gets regular use - and has served faithfully for well over 100 years.
