There are three things amiss with that argument.

The first is that it is rare for someone to snuff it from obesity without enduring a period of lingering pain and misery before kicking the bucket. My guess is is that we're one to ask people in that condition whether they would rather have done things differently the answer would be a resounding yes.

Secondly in this socialist state of ours we all get to share the bill for trying to keep them alive which is an abominable waste of money.

And thirdly it really isn't necessary to eat lettuce although it does help!

Eating is a sensory pleasure and like all sensations is temporary. Persuing sensations is part of the core illusion.
