get a long board, which type, which one/brand, what lenght

background- shortboards. last 3 years sups. pretty much never ridden longer boards till then.

also, one that does get caught up in the pocket

Picked up my new board yesterday.

Munro 9'1 X 22 1/2 X 2 3/4
Concave to double V.

The board has some Carbon Fibre Rods which apparently doesn't add any real strength to the board but takes out some of the flex. You can see them being the black lines out near the rail on the bottom.

I am going to leave it for another week to cure before hitting the water. Can't wait . Here are some pics
