That's brilliant Jethro, gadget of the year, definitely! I'm going to get one too.
Trek, Ip67 is supposed to be good to 1 meter for up to 30 mins. I guess if you wanted to do a deep rudder, maybe a plasic bag over the head somehow might mitigate the water pressure ingress to some degree? What do you think? I'd use it primarily for decks and hull sides to or just below water line I think.
