We finally got some wind at Pt Danger!

It was insane for the first few hours and then settled down a bit and it was actualy sailable and not just a case of surviving.

I took this pic, I can hear this thoughts... "Should I change down a size or wait....."

It was the first time in a long while where I had to wait for the wind to drop.. Normally it's the other way around!

How did you guys go on the other side of the bay?

G.

Amazing winds on this side of the bay too. Tom said he was blown off the water at Pt. Leo.

I got down to Mt. Martha after 4pm and it was dying off. After getting quite far out the wind dropped dramatically, so I spent a while swimming and slogging back to the amusement of about 10 windsurfers who had turned up but wisely decided it was smarter to crack open a few beers.

That will teach me for getting a real job.

Edit: Gods of Kobol -clearly you've been watching too much Battlestar Galactica lol
