Now that was awesome. Still a bit overdone on a 4.7m at times. Borrowed a 80 litre wave board which really helped, thanks RPS! A lot more control than my smallest, a 94 litre fsw. Anyway, plenty of people on the water. Really fun session.

Sounds awesome.

I was looking out for you when we blew through on our DW'er.

Sweet that you bonded well with the 80 litre Naish.

Well I think you had the biggest sail on the water today, 4.2 was plenty for me.
But definatley an epic day, just wish we could sail in those conditions more often.
So Evan now you can see the need for that smaller board again??

Thanks, was hard work but fun!

My back leg is aching, as it's like surfing for 17 kms. ( distance from st kilda to Ricketts).

You guys were all over it as well! Sun+wind=good times

Survival sailing for sure, needed a nana nap after that. Might have to invest in a 3.7m after struggling with my 4.0. Great weather and more on the way next week, what a start to the season

Jman please don't encourage him. It is hard enough to control him now without your help.

I'm confused Evan - do you have a female alter-ego? A drag persona? Gender dysmorphia? Plans for the cut and tuck?? How come Cobby and ejmack are both you, one male, one female??

Yeah, not too sure what happened there Pedro.... I did put up a advert for Sue's sail a few months back so somehow my name was inserted into here profile..... rest assured, all my bits are where they should be! Possibly a beer short of a six pack though!

Some pics up of the days events at Tribe Carew by a great photographer, Sean;

Nice pic of Brendan doing forwards. Photography - Sean at Tribe Carew

Warwick - yeah, noticed a few groups of Sup'ers coming through, thinking I'd rather be windsurfing. Doesn't look easy that's for sure. Yep, Naish waveboard was great. Not what I was expecting and a lot easier to ride than I expected.

Jerry - yep, definitely opened my eyes to how tough I was doing it on my k94 in similar conditions. What a difference 14 litres and a different shape makes. With a slightly smaller fin yesterday I think it would have been a lot better again. Fin did feel a bit big (25cm), 23 probably much more appropriate.
