Seabreeze showing Low Head @SW to WSW at >20knts on Sunday morning (WillyW showing F.A.), low tide around 11am. Is that a sailable direction up there at low head, or better further down the river?
I've had a couple of weeks with time on my hands, with no chance for a sail, a little bit edgy!

I would say yes...probably, but it's always unpredictable at this time of year.

Given how close today was to forecast I would say that the chance of tomorrow doing anything other than tease is absolutely non-existent.

Get comfortable - no foreseeable wind, but fear not, I am of the understanding that next year is unlikely to be an El Niño year................... Whoopy do

You guys just had two weeks non stop strong NW and unfortunately I just read that the tail end of the El Niño will likely(70%chance) suppress La Niña or the windy pattern for 6/12 more months giving us normal average wind speeds over southern ocean. So Bellboy beach should blow only 30/40 knots next spring

I confess Flouro1 - we did have two weeks of constant wind...almost constant wind. It only abated on the weekends............... And when there was weekend-wind we were on 55 litre boards with 3.7 sails and getting SMASHED.

It never rains but it pours, and it poured.

I also thought that I saw something about a 70% chance of El Niño suppression, but thought that it must have just been a bad dream; a nightmare.

I might just purchase a bigger kite and put the sailboards into mothballs. Greenie has given up on wind altogether and resorted to petrol-power.

I can't believe how much reading I am getting done at the moment.

Pretty close to forecast at the moment - 22 knots SWforecast - 8 knots S actual.

Not to worry, a weekday will be along shortly, useful wind will turn up, and go completely to waste.
