I have used a quicksilver heat vest for the last 2 winters on the south coast of victoria. The vest has just stopped working for no apparent reason. I'm not sure if the on/of/heat control switch has stopped working or if it no longer charges. Does anyone else use this vest and has anyone had these problems.

I have a Hotsuits battery powered vest and it has also just died after three cold winters, a broken wire is the diagnosis for mine so currently awaiting repairs if possible. While the unit was on it lasted about 90 min and some times had to do a full flush of cold water to cool down in middle of winter.
Looking around I found this review of three of the latest vests.

I am pleased to report that I got into contact with Quicksilver who replaced my battery free, even though I was out of the warranty period. I am a happy customer.
