This board will piss surfers off- why surf when you could be sailing and picking off the set waves. At 88 kilos and with a 5.7 you can still get out in next to nothing and have a ball. It is still short so you can throw it around and the rounded pin is a definite improvement on the old square tail. A great lightwind board to get onto some glassy waves.

Can you give me more info on the board? What sort of wind range would you use it in? Sails? I weigh about 82 kilos, would it be good as a marginal days (14 knots) waveboard???

In 14 knots it is an excellent board for wave riding if you don't mind drifting into the line-up and then riding to your hearts content. The board does not need power in your sail to surf the waves as it finds it's power from the wave instead. And I don't mean lazy slow turns either. You can surf with power, speed and comfort with very little wind.
