Hey PC,

I read you review of last year on the SUPer, and also had the chance to try one lately. I'm surprised at a couple of points you made.

I found it hard and slow to tack and point. No worse than expected for that kind of board, but still not fun. And I found gybing an absolute charm. Basically the opposite of your experience.

I tried both dagger up and down, in about 10-12 knot winds, with both the Starboard-supplied Severne 6.5 and my own modern 6-m sail. Used one of the SB-supplied fins.

Tried mostly on the back hole, which should have made pointing up easier.

Overall, it's one fun experience though. Soooo relaxing with the top and the width. I take the knob out one the DB is down though - too hard for the toes. And whilst it's fun and refreshing, it's back to shorties as soon as the wind picks up abot 12-13 knots though.

Have you tried again lately ?
Cheers,
PC me too.
