Not happy Jan.

PS - what's wrong with your personalised initials too? Well worth the extra 10% in cost

It that a 2012 board? If so, from my experience a lot of the first few products of any production line can have minor visual problems such as the ones described in the post.

I guess that's the trade off for being one of the first people to own one.

While the wrinkles are not that nice to look at they portably don't make a structural difference plus unless you keep the board hanging on a wall I am guessing it will look well used pretty quickly.

Would interesting to see how hot the board gets with the amount of blank being used. A friend of mine had a black custom made a few years back and it got too hot to stand on when left in the sun for too long.

No it's a standard 2011 board with black instead of white color.
Since the standard & only available in black STYLEX board has been around for year, I would expect T1 to be confident about black versions.

As I say, If the actual board you will buy gets your approval after inspection, I'm sure you'll be more than happy once more.

FILE IN A WARRANTY CLAIM! They should do it!

I handle claims every day and believe me there is much more proffitable in taking care of a disappointed customer, who regains faith than saving some $$ on a product that you don't replace.
