It that a 2012 board? If so, from my experience a lot of the first few products of any production line can have minor visual problems such as the ones described in the post.
I guess that's the trade off for being one of the first people to own one.
While the wrinkles are not that nice to look at they portably don't make a structural difference plus unless you keep the board hanging on a wall I am guessing it will look well used pretty quickly.
Would interesting to see how hot the board gets with the amount of blank being used. A friend of mine had a black custom made a few years back and it got too hot to stand on when left in the sun for too long.
No it's a standard 2011 board with black instead of white color.
Since the standard & only available in black STYLEX board has been around for year, I would expect T1 to be confident about black versions.
