Dear All

Just wondering if anyone can give me some ideas of what the JP Young Gun board is like to sail.

I am thinking of purchasing one for my partner to sail on. She is currently at the stage of sailing on a big board and just prior to planing and thus harness use.

I would also like to use this board myself to play on in light winds.

On the website it states for users up to 50kg. This confuses me as it is 114lt. I am approx 65kg and my partner ~60kg.

Is this a good stepping stone board?? To get the hang of planing and harness use prior to getting a slalom board.

thanks for any advice
cheers wayne

No its not a good choice as a progression board and the only reason being is the footstrap spread has been designed for kids at a reduced stance of 40cm the normal spread is around 50-60cm for adults.
