Ok you 95kg and over gents I have found the board for us to light wind wave sail with - The new 2007 JP 102 & 109 FSW are the go.
Have had the chance now to use mind now a number of times and I am super happy with its performance in the surf. This year's FSW are alot more wave bais then the last few years with very thin rails and a narrow tail. The 102 & 109 are almost more like big brothers to the RWW. The 109 work well with my 95kg and a 6.2search planning super early ( the wind was only 12knts with 15knt gusts) it had plenty of float, got to use it now a couple of times in waist to chest high waves. THe board worked well I was inpressed for a such a large board to be able to come of the bottom and top the way it did, I guess its due to the fact the board does not fell so big you forget that is 109L and more like a large wave board. Must admit was not using the stock fin but a 25" power box north shore wave fin which has a bit more flex than the stock fin. I have also had the chnce to use it in the river and do some freestyle on it was a bit worried at how it would go in freestyle as it is alot more wave bais now and also the bevel tail has been removed so I thought riding fin first might be a problem but I was proved wrong the tail rocker looks after this.
So you heavy guys looking at getting a light wind wave board for waves up to head high I can highly recommend looking at the FSW's.
I will keep you all posted on its performance.

well, ive got the board, sailed it in chop, flat water, waves, open ocean, with both a 5.8 wave sail and a 6.5 speed, slalom sail, what a board! Ive also used both the stock fin and a 36cm speed dagger style fin. Gybes awesomely, really well balanced, hauls ass on the flat water, very confidence inspiring, my score 10/10
anyone looking at getting one feel free to drop me an email for any questions.
