Hi

Really dumb question, but hey ho. How do you connect the uphaul to a neil pryde x6 boom? There isn't any thing to connect it to, or hole to pass it through. Or do i just wrap it around the mast above the boom?

Hi,i used to attach it to the boom, but now i loop it around the
mast above the boom. The few inches further up the mast makes
uphauling a bit easier.

If theres no hole it just gets looped around the boom arm, or mast if you dont mind sticking it on there each time you head out

maybe tape it into position if there is really nothing there to stop it sliding back?

I just put it around the mast above the boom, you only need it on the super light days

NP Booms have really small holes just at the edge of where the plastic clamp closes onto hard to see open the plastic clamp and you'll notice them going through the clamp. Usually from new they come with a small loop of rope threaded through the hole and you attach your uphaul to that. If that loop is missing you wont get the uphaul itself through the hole so would have to put another small loop on first.
