I have just found a fanatic bee for sale in my area. I have been looking for a board for my dad and sister to learn on and given the price of this one i thought it may be a good option. Here is a picture from the ad:

Has anyone had any experience with this board and have any opinions on whether it would be an alright board to learn on?

For a zero beginner a dagger board should be added.
Also, newer shapes are wider and hence it is easier to learn on them.

Neither my sister or my dad are complete beginners and have experience on an old 80's windrush xp. I would like any new board as i assume it would be an improvement and it would also enable me to put my newer and far more user friendly rig on it. Given how cheap it is (and depending on its condition) i see it as a good shorter term purchase so they can start properly improving.

guys the fanatic would be a good board to progress on.l had one in the early norties 2003 .forget boards with dagger boards they are only good for riders who race in fickle winds. you can only get better on choosing a tradition free ride like the bee they will turn easier too as apposed to the newer wide style boards.
