Anyone tried the Duotone EPX carbon boom? Any opinions or reviews.
Looks like an affordable alternative for a not so wealthy dude

I had a 175 to 225 for a month. So far so good.

Any update? Seems the least expensive modern bend carbon option.

After 9 months use I can confirm it's a great combination of quality and value. I use the 175 - 225 with my 5.7, 6.2, 7.0 & 7.7 race sails. It's well made and stiff. It's grip is resilient and comfortable with a slight 'V'. The boom clamp, adjustment clips and clew pulleys are solidly made and work well. It feels lighter than my previous Maui and Enigma booms of the same size.

Being black doesn't mean it's carbon

Duotone EPX boom.
The EPX.CARBON is made of carbon in a rigid prepreg monocoque construction.
