I've had two moderate wind sessions on my new Chinook RDG 150-200 Carbon boom. This boom is for my 5.3 wave sail, and possibly my 4.7 wave sail.

I like it

. The boom is very thin and light (RDG = reduced diameter grip). It feels very nice. The tail clips feels a bit cheap when locking the tail to a given extension setting. The loop-n-go setup on the tail is 45deg angled. No big deal, it does the job. It's just a bit different to other loop-and-go booms. The tail has a handy spooler to stow access outhaul line. And the reason I got another Chinook: the extra long clamp. The extra length distributes forces between the clamp and the mast more evenly than shorter clamps. Another blurry pic:
