Not a simple question here.
Looking at say 2020-2022-2023 Freestyle boards from say Fanatic, Severne, JP, Starboard. Which one is better for freeride/straight line/bump-jump/speed from your experience? I feel that the more specialized freestyle boards become, they start to feel better for some double tricks which i don't do but may also become stiffer and less comfortable in straight line/speed or carving and occasional wave..
let's cross the "occasional wave" off as no freestyle-tailed board will take you there...
but for the rest of your wants, likely your best bet is the 2020 Starboard Ignite - with the outside footstrap options (which went away, as i recall for 2021 or 22). but there are some caveats

Change fin, and sail
this you definitely need to do.
i rode that board a lot during the lockdowns and thereafter (never in freestyle mode, as i don't turn tricks) and found it incredibly versatile in really bumpy b&j conditions, moderate ones, and freeride/almost freerace. the reduced length takes a bit of getting used to when using freeride/freerace sails (like NCX), and you can't carve too tightly on a swell lest the hard rails catch and dump you overboard.
but when pairing the sail and fin correctly with each other and the conditions, it was one of the most fun boards i've ridden ever. used 4.7 and 5.3 b&j sails (with "freewave" fins) and 5.5 and 6.0 NCX (with "slalom" type fins). front straps were always outside and back, rear was in centre for b&j and double outside for freeride.
so if you don't mind switching strap positions and having the fins and sails to match your intended use, you could almost have that one ideal board.
