Finally got some water time for the 76ltr after riding the 68ltr predominatly for the past few months. It was only small surf and 20-25cross off, I had both the 76 and the 68 on the beach and swapped between the two to compare. Made some interesting comparisons between the two, firstly the 76 didnt seem to " slide" onto the plane like the 68 does, it pops up more like a single fin which was nice. Secondly to my surprise the 76 was every bit as loose as the 68, which is a first for me as normally Im wanting to jump on little board as soon as I can because they are normally alot looser, but this year I can honestly say I have no preference. The 76 was great, its performance waaaay exceeded my expectations as to what I could get out of a 76 ltr board ( which is a big board for me), absolutely loved it. Strongly recomend haveing a go on these boards.
Ps the reason why I was alternating between the two boards was because One Knot kept grabbing them for "just one more run Dan, I promise, c'mon".
