Just bought this so thought I would share my thoughts:

I have only sailed this board once with the supplied Tri fin set up and a 5.3m Volt (I forgot the blanking plates!).

Conditions: Moreton bay so lumpy bump and jump.

First impressions: Great looking board, I love the new 2016 colours and the beautiful design of the underneath.

Carving is very smoother, as was riding out through any chop or swell.

It is extremely light, great to jump and feels like it planes earlier than my old 2014 96L Freewave TE.

The 3 fin setup took a bit of getting used to as I have not sailed with them before, so I did get a bit of spin out initially but once I adjusted my technique it responded well to foot pressure and was very easy to sail.

My mate was on a 2015 Freewave 86L TE with single fin set up and same sail. He was a bit quicker but could be just down to the fins (at least that's what I am telling myself).

My favourite board ever? Well certainly my favorite Freewave board ever.

I love the carbon weave on the bottom. One of these around 95L is on my bucket list. I wish they did the extreme in the bigger FSW as well.
