I bought a Trance 84 litre a few weeks ago. I am not a very experienced windsurfer and have not tried it in waves, but I do like it very much. I find it very manoeuvrable and responsive and easy to sail. It gets planing very quickly (as long as there is no weed attached to the fin!) and whizzes through the chop. It appears to be very well made with a good grip on the deck. The footstraps stand up nicely and are easy to get in and out of without ripping toenails off. The fin box is slightly shallower than my previous board so needed a slightly shorter screw. I am completely happy with it.

I tried one in Maui, I liked it a lot and actually found moving onto an evo difficult as it felt slower. It had just enough looseness to wave ride, was fast so good for jumping and i suppose would be good for freestyle. i wouldn't buy one for waves but would for a coastal/chop/inland board for tricks and basic wave riding.
I tried the evo and didn't get on with it at all, it felt too short and i prefered riding the JP waves and free-style waves.
Hope this helps!
