Looking for suggestions of spots for wave jumping / riding that work in Northerly winds around SEQ?

Most spots I know only work in ESE-SSW wind direction.

I am not a wave sailor but I have heard that some use Mooloolaba Beach when the northerlies are on.

Cotton tree Mooloolabah , Stumers beach Coolum and Castaways beach at Sunrise beach. All cross to cross on shore all work best in a straight northerly. NE is a bit cross on. Get used to a gnarly sweep They are all fun as hell on the right day. Mooloolabah beach is on shore but good for a jump both tacks with a silky smooth jibe section on the inside. Noosa river mouth is good if the sand bars are good. But onshore and lots of kites in a small area. Bump and jump in the bay. Both Noosa and Cotton tree have fast moving currents depending on the tide which way . Cheers!
