if things go wrong, sure, there is potential for injury, but your more prone to wiping out pushing fast in chop, the flatness of shallow water makes it less likely that your gunna wipe out, you might lift, thats about it, maybe catapult as well
in a nw, yarra bay is flattish, foreshore drive, narra lakes is flat in westerly, ultra patchy though
kurnell gets good wind......but flat? no, not really, if you want proper flat, try budgey, canton, illawarra, tarren pt
