I must admit iwas a shocked as anyone when the additional seawalls were put in down at windang a few years back. Ive sailed there on a few smaller days since the walls had gone in and was surprised that it was still sailble (although abit gustier than before on the inside) However, we went down on both sat and sunday of this weekend just gone and when there is a descent swell on windang is in a world of its own!! the most fun Ive had in a couple of years, easy. Super fast, super smooth, and super big, best sail Ive had in ages.

Yeah I second that what an awesome weekend! I couldnt believe how smooth those faces were, it really is a world class spot. Although with the new sea wall it looks like it would be pretty ordinary with anything smaller than half mast as there is not much wind on the inside.

Best ive had windang in probably 5+ years. Sunday was the day. Gustier than the old but still got it. Has to be big to break properly though I reckon.

It might be good, but chances are it will be very gusty as the forecasted wind is very cross off. Definately worth the trip if its working
