Had some Kid's Ezzy sails stolen from our apartment's garage in Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Sometime between yesterday and ...um, a few months ago. They are rarely used and I just noticed.
Advertised as "Perfect for adults and beginners". Advertised around same date they went missing. Coincidence?
I only came across them on Saturday. They were sold the next day, apparently. Contact phone number was fake and I never got to message them before it was taken off gumtree.

Get in touch with Gumtree. Looks like these photos were taken with a phone camera. Gumtree might still have a cached version of the original photos which possibly contain location data. They might also still have more details about the poster.
You can raise a ticket here. Select "Law enforcement inquiry" that usually gets answered quickly.
The police ask "are you 100% sure they are yours?" and alas I cannot be 100% they are mine. Police don't want to be confiscating gear they can't be 100% sure is stolen. I can understand that.
There are no serial numbers and distributors tell me they've sold over 100 of the same.
Insurance would cover it if I reported them stolen, however the excess is more than the cost of the sails. Just.

Write off. Lesson learnt. Lock everything.
Police once recommended to me to mark all sails, boards etc with my drivers license number.
