Anyone experienced breakages with the top piece of a 430 skinny mast (wave mast) ?
Got a fellow wave sailor up this way who managed to break the top piece of a skinny ?
*The mast had been owned since new and had a few good seasons of use.

Prior to moving to skinny masts I have snapped countless masts... but always the bottom piece and as a result had 5 or 6 standard diameter tips kicking around at one stage ?

I think my mast breakage count since moving to skinnies (ZERO) is testament to how much stronger they are... but has anyone else had the misfortune of snapping a skinny wave mast and if so, top or bottom piece ?

Opportune time to also put the call out for a Sailworks 430 skinny tip (or any skinny 430 tip) to get my mate back out on the water while he saves the coin for a new 100% carbon skinny

Possibly due to the shear amount of words it took to convey the relatively simple message of: "snapped the top half of a 430 skinny. anyone got one for sale?"

I however enjoy a good yarn, so green thumbed it, but was no match for the red thumb army.
